Statement:
I've always been interested in the cosmic as well as humor in past modes of abstraction. My work bounces between pop-culture, the spiritual, and the organic; residing in all three at once. Veils, portals, or openings into other worlds are all suggested in my work. The paintings "flirt" with representation and act as a bridge between the real and the imagined.
