At Home :: Sectional Love

We've been itching to get a sectional for years and in January finally took the plunge!  This graphite-colored beauty arrived yesterday and I LOVE IT!  It's the Jane Bi-Sectional by Gus Modern... and it's hella sexy.  Movie night at our place!

Gus Modern products are available from quite a few online retailers, but we ordered Ms. Jane through Philadelphia-based Hipster Home (awesome people).  Blind-buying anything is a little scary, let alone a huge piece like this, but I've got to say I would order from them again in a heart beat.  Dave, the owner, is one of the nicest and most helpful people on the planet: if you have a question, he has an answer, and a suggestion, and advice, and tips, and endless amounts of useful information.  Seriously.  I can't recommend Hipster Home enough.

So, just for fun, here's a before pic with our other sofa (which we're trying to sell, HINT HINT)!  It's amazing what a difference the sectional makes in our space - it feels much more complete and cozy.  What do you think?  Do you have love for the sectional, too?

Umm, I hate to break it to you, but this looks PERFECT in your living room. And you got the Gus sectional, the IT sectional. Swoon. Yes, love. When can I come over to break it in?

Thank you so much!! We have been looking for the perfect gray sectional for months & they have a dealer in our town. Sqeee! I'm gonna go right over there & check it out. Thanks again!
(Psst... your dog is super cute.)

Carla - You are too cute! If you do end up checking it out, you'll have to let me know what you think. Since it arrived, I've practically been living in that corner area with the chaise. :)

OMG, Gus and Barcelona. Although that Barcelona does look like a reproduction. May I ask how you like your Barcelona and whether you got a good deal on it?

Epi - Thanks! Yes, the Barcelona is a reproduction (although very high quality and made in Italy) and we LOVE it! Considering that the real ones range in price from $5K - $7K, we definitely got a good deal on it! We purchased through a local store here in Salt Lake called Copenhagen West. Hope that helps!
