Muller Van Severen :: Industrial Design

I discovered Muller Van Severen (the collaborative studio of Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen) on Pinterest last week and have been thinking about their work non-stop ever since... I figured that was as good a sign as any that I needed to share it with you STAT!

Looking through their portfolio, it was so SO hard to pick which pieces to share with you, but their awesome cutting boards and trivets definitely stood out.  Also, the leather and steel chaise lounge/chair/floor lamp combo is pretty brilliant.  Oh, and the table/lamp one too.  SEE??  It's impossible to highlight just one piece.

Check out more of their work below and let me know which is your fave!

A.V. Desk :: Ola Leander

The A.V. Desk, inspired by and named after Danish designer Arne Vodder, is the newest piece from furniture designer Ola Leander.  This walnut and lacquer beauty is made to order, so contact Ola for the deets!  Meanwhile, I'll just stare at my monitor and dream about all the things I could put in those drawers..

Anthony Hartley :: Edna Series

My eyes popped right out of my head when I saw this series on Design Milk yesterday... In fact, I still haven't been able to find them, so if you happen to see two crazed-yet-happy-looking peepers rolling around, tell 'em to head on home.

These lacquered wood beauties might be my favorite pieces of furniture so far this year or possibly ever.  I mean seriously, check out those colors!  And those CURVES - oh my.  Designer Anthony Hartley has truly outdone himself - and secured a permanent spot in my "Awesome Sauce McGees" list.  Well done.
