Mod Wallpaper :: Bradbury & Bradbury

Hey, if they keep putting out wallpaper like this, I'm gonna say you can never have too many Bradbury's.  Atomic, Post-War, Mod Generation, Art Deco - they're all collections of amazingly awesome wallpaper from Bradbury & Bradbury, an artistic wallpaper supplier based out of Benicia, California.  If there's a specific style you're looking for, chances are they have it.  Plus, in a world of $200+/roll designer wallpapers, their prices really can't be beat!

Check out all their offerings here (they even have Victorian, Arts & Crafts, and Damask collections).

Modern Wallpaper from Bradbury & Bradbury: $50-$70

DesignPhiladelphia 2010

Dearest of dears, I'm so excited to tell you that this little adventurer of yours will be attending DesignPhiladelphia next week!  I'm pretty stoked.  DesignPhiladelphia is the nation's largest celebration of its kind, featuring over 450 designers, 150 exhibitions, and enough workshops, lectures, and discussions to fill your inspiration meter for at least a year.  (You know, until the next DesignPhiladelphia!)

I'll be attending DuPont's Carte Blanche Exhibition, discussing design with Todd Bracher*, and admiring the car weaving skills of Jeanne Wiley, amongst other things.  If you're headed to this event or are in the area, come find me!  I'll be the short girl with glazed-over eyes and a constant smile: living in design heaven!  For the folks back home, I can't wait to share it with you!

Now to figure out what to wear...

*If you have questions for this talented designer, send them my way!

[A huge thank you must be given to DuPont for sending me out to this event.  I'm giddy with gratitude!]

Happy Colors :: Modern in Brooklyn

I don't know how I let this one slip by, but I'm so glad I found it (via ManMade via IkeaHacker via Apartment Therapy - hey, it was a long path, but sooo worth it)!  Gene and Heidi of Brooklyn transformed their once dark and seemingly small loft into a space full of light and, let's face it, happiness!  I love, love, LOVE how they transformed their home.  Everything works so well together, from the finishes to the furniture, the art to the fixtures.  The next time someone says "find your happy place", I'll think of this home!

You must, must check out the complete Apartment Therapy house tour for more info, before & after pics, and a huge list of resources.  Also, check out Gene's post about his DIY, built-in office system using IKEA pieces.

More pics after the jump!
