MAIYA :: New Look! Same Colors! Different Shapes!

If you follow me on Twitter, you may recall that I hinted about working on a new site design that involved my favorite geometric shape, The Triangle.  I've been obsessed with this three sided wonder for a really, really, really long time (and that's not even half of it).  My first mini quilt--which I finally completed and will promptly take photos of, I swear--was all "triangle this, triangle that--look at me, I've got triangles".  So what does a triangle-obsessed girl do??  She puts some freaking triangles on her blog, that's what.

And so I did.

I kept my favorite colors, of course, but made 'em all pointy and awesome-er.  Also?  The tabs change colors when you move your little mouse guy over them... FANCY.  I like to pretend they make magical xylophone sounds when you do that, but that's just me.

Anyway, I hope you like the new look.  Check it out, RSS and Facebook people.  Also, if anything seems broken or weird, let me know--I'll use my wizard powers and get it fixed right quick.

MAIYA :: FYI

So, as you can see, I'm doing some stuff that involves plastic sheeting.  It's pretty exciting.  If you follow me on Twitter, you'll have heard the ramblings of a crazy, mid-makeover DIYer... you'll also have noticed that I seem to have dropped off the face of the planet the past few days.  You can probably guess that the two are related, yes?  Good, cuz THEY TOTALLY ARE.  The planet face melting and the ramblings, I mean.
