In case you were wondering, yes, this is what I see every time I close my eyes.  I love color!  And stop motion animation!  And paper!

2011 Papercut Calendar :: A Little Hut

I am loving this papercut calendar from A Little Hut!  Loving, I say.  All over.  It ships flat but comes pre-scored so all you have to do is fold and glue the sides and voilà!  A magical calendar box is born!  The cutouts are designed to show off your wall color - or - you can customize it by adding scraps of colored paper/fabric to the back (as shown above).  Definitely cool.

2011 Papercut Calendar from A Little Hut: $26

Crafterall :: Papercut Illustrations

Want to know a way straight to my heart?  Combine topography with papercutting and - BAM - insta-love affair.  Crafterall is Marnie Karger, an artist and designer based out of Minneapolis who creates these totally rad topographic papercut illustrations - by hand.  Some are based on actual locations, like this one of San Francisco Bay, while others come straight from her imagination like her Islands series.  (Wouldn't it look great displayed as a diptych or triptych?)

Check out more of her available designs here, including some sweet 'mod' abstracts and florals.  For her complete portfolio, stop by her flickr stream.

Papercut Illustrations and Cards by Crafterall: $5 - $40
