MAIYA :: Happy Holidays + Goin' On Break

Happy, happy, happiest of holidays Adventurers!  Thank you all for your enthusiastic support this year--you helped MAIYA blossom and grow more than I could have imagined.  Really, THANK YOU.  I'm super excited for all the amazing adventures we'll have in 2012; it's already stacking up to be bigger and better than ever!  I'm thrilled to bits.

But, before the new year arrives, I'm packing my bags and heading off into the sunset for one last hurrah and a week spent with family.  So, see you in 2012!  It's going to be fantastic.

MAIYA :: FYI

Hey all!  Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be in Austin for the next ten days, filling my belly with good food and my eyes with zombie gore.  Yes, zombies.  And killer tires.  And other bizarre and amazing sights.  I'm attending the full run of Fantastic Fest, a film festival devoted to horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action and just plain fantastic movies from all around the world.  Should prove to be a whirlwind of art and culture and all kinds of ridiculousness*.  I can't wait.

But, don't worry your pretty heads.  I haven't forgotten about you!  I've scheduled posts to cover my entire absence, so you won't even know I'm gone.  I swear.  [Except that I will have limited Internet access, so replies to comments and emails will have to wait until I get back.  That's not so bad though, right?  I promise lollipops and tickles upon my return.]
