FunQuilts :: Modern Quilts

I've been meaning to post about FunQuilts for a while now, but I was reminded when I saw one of their quilts in the most recent issue of Dwell.  They featured the Infinity Quilt, which is probably my favorite design.  Color Conspiracy comes in a close second.  Check out their quilt gallery and let me know which one is your favorite!

FunQuilts was founded by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr in 1999. FunQuilts is a design studio, not a retail shop, where Weeks and Bill create one-of-a-kind and limited edition contemporary quilts, design fabrics, write books, write for magazines and design for manufacturers. They both have graduate degrees in design and lead workshops on design for quiltmakers nationally and internationally.

Their upcoming book, Quilts Made Modern, will be released by C&T publishing in November 2010.

Weeks also writes the widely-read craft and creativity blog, Craft Nectar.

You can purchase pre-made quilts, commission custom designs, or attempt your own with their patterns and kits.  Pre-made quilts are available from $1150 - $3400.
