Collected Graphic Design :: Montague Projects
Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 3:31PM
This is one of the most impressive collections of vintage graphic design examples I've ever come across. From posters to album covers, field guides to grammar books, Julian Montague of Montague Projects has amassed 1000s of images on his Flickr stream. I've included a few of my favorite below, but it barely scratches the surface of this incredible collection and resource. So. Definitely check out Julian's Flickr stream for more visual delights!

LOVE
Agreed!
I bookmarked these in my reader-- so inspiring! Color and Field and The Speech Train are just fantastic.
Color me inspired! Love them all.
Aren't they amazing?? Makes me want to go thrifting just for cool book covers. Oh, and Megan, the Color and Field one is actually a cut out, so the pink layer is underneath. Here's a better image of that. Pretty fantastic.
Your blog makes me smile! These have blown my mind!
Sana - Thank you! They really are mind blowing - I can't believe how many images are in this collection, either. It's incredible. P.S. I'm so glad we were able to meet!
