Guest Room Update :: Dresser Mania

It's here!!! Our little Danish mistress arrived last Thursday (ahead of schedule - yay!), and now resides in our soon-to-be-realized guest room.  Unboxing this thing was quite an adventure, but once we got it out of its cardboard and plastic wrap cocoon, I was surprised to see the sweetest little knobs!  They weren't visible in the eBay photos, but I love the detail.  An unexpected treat, for sure.

Currently we're waiting on our wallpaper, which arrived several weeks ago in a semi-damaged and sad state.  A minor set back, but hopefully the replacement roll will get here soon!  After that, we'll be painting our little hearts out.  At the moment, the decision is between Benjamin Moore's Wythe Blue or Warm Springs.  Both gorgeous colors, though Wythe has a bit of grey mixed in, which might be better with our wildly bright sofa.  Hmm...

Other than that, it's all about accessories... a rug, curtains/shades, artwork, etc.  For now, our 'bots Maggie and Herbert definitely approve of their new digs!

Hellooo gorgeous! I could play Vintage Vignette with this Danish mistress ALL day! I'm leaning towards Wythe too. Looking forward to the transformation!.

Dabito - Oo, I'd love to see what you could do with this dresser! Your Vintage Vignettes are always so inspiring.

Carina - Hey, if you come to Utah again, this'll be your room (and your dresser)! :D

Thank you, Bobby! I'm in love with it as well. Now, if that replacement roll would show up...
